1. You need a tool that will download YT videos in MP3 format or an Apple friendly format

I use Real Player to download the YT videos and convert them to MP3 files which I then import into iTunes via the File menu option of Add File to Library. From there, it is a simple sync to your Shuffle.

I suspect there are other tools out there for downloading the YT videos directly into MP3 format. I'll let someone else chime in on that.
