untick the box that says: Wipe Free Space. That feature takes forever and isn't really necessary in regards to getting rid of registry problems. As for clearing out your registry, the Cleaner feature will help, but you also want to run the Registry tool. Tick all the boxes start the thing and when the scan is done, click Fix Issues.

As for future, complete, uninstalls, use the freeware version of Revo Uninstaller:

Run Revo to uninstall and get rid of registry files and leftover junk. Then run the CCleaner Cleaner/Registry tools to make sure all is neat and tidy.
