8. I started with Qwest. They were darned good.................

I was one of their first DSL customers on this side of town. It was a bit rough at first but they were right there!
Then came CentryLink.

On the part of others I had 2 run ins with their service group.
Let's start with English is not their first language and probably not their second language either.
It went down hill from there!
Were their an alternate suitable provider I would have migrated myself and any of my customers right then and there.

That being said.
The DSL is reliable! I have had only 1 short outage in the last two years. No complaints at all.
Their package deals can be cost effective and if you find the right price point you may still be able to get long term contracts.
My last go round with customer support wasn't as bad but not quite up to what was Qwest.

In my experience cost/performance is good and all should be well as long as customer support doesn't get involved.
