7. Why not virtualize?

Slap VirtualBox on there, or VMWare if you're feeling spendy, image your current drive, and Bob's your uncle. (Or, perish the thought, virtualize Linux...the Win kernel itself is good enough as a host and with modern hardware and plenty of RAM you shouldn't get a performance hit..)
