It might have to do with Google tracking:

Two things you can try

#1
Right click on your back button and if you find an unknown url with a long string of characters you can add that to your "Restricted sites list"

Tools> Internet Options>Security>Highlight Restricted sites by clicking on it>Click on the "sites" box

Add the bad url to your list. Every time you have an issue you will have to add that url. You can also have the Restricted sites level set at "high" and have the checkmark in the box for "Enable Protected Mode"

#2
The other thing you might try to stop the problem as it was also a problem with IE 9 is this:

1: Click "safety" in your IE 10 browser
2: Click "tracking protection" from the menu
3: Half way down the page click on "Get a tracking protection list online"
4: Click the add button for "Stop Google Tracking" from the list further down that page

If you have Firefox on your computer it might open that page in Firefox and put up a box saying you need IE 10 even though you already have IE 10.

If that happens, close Firefox and then copy/paste this into your IE browser:

http://www.iegallery.com/en-us/trackingprotectionlists

now again go down the list and add "Stop Google Tracking"

5 This url below doesn't appear in the list anymore so I would skip #5
Click the add button for "http://privacyplz.zzl.org/" from the list

6: Close the manage Add ons window

7: Click "safety" then "delete browsing history"

This is kind of broad so I assume it would be the top four items on the list that involves cookies/history. Just to be safe make sure you know your sign in name and passwords when you go back to websites that normally keep you logged in like DU.

8: Close IE 10 browser and then reopen

If you have problems with this you can Undo it by repeating 1,2,3 then Highlight "Remove Google Tracking" and click on "Remove" on the bottom of the box. Close Manage Add-ons.

Good luck!
