2. For normal YouTube links the first parameter should be the video ID.

(Actually that's the only parameter you need.) For example:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyqzPu5pX6U

If something else appears first, sometimes the DU software will just post a link. Examples:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=VyqzPu5pX6U

http://www.youtube.com/watch?t=184s&v=VyqzPu5pX6U

You can always use the 'share' link that is under the video on the YouTube site - it looks like this:

http://youtu.be/VyqzPu5pX6U
