I was surprised at first when I saw Kelly's signs up.

It seemed (to me) to be ... somehow inappropriate or bad form ... like Kelly is taking advantage of the opportunity created by Jared Lee Loughter to give his congressional run another go.

Even in the IMMEDIATE aftermath of the shooting, when you would most expect a change in the dynamic, the rightists went ballistic when Sheriff Dupnik made that comment about "excessive vitriol in the political discourse".
