The DeVos family (criminal pyramid scheme AmWay fundementalist idiots -- in-laws own the infamous Black Water, also in Michigan) runs the Repukes here. Nobody gets to be a Repukes delegate here unless they are vetted for religious purity. This started during Pat Robertson's candidacy, when he used MI as his model for taking over political control. It worked well enough for the model to be repeated throughout the country.

Face it, folks. The Republicans, and especially the religious right, are better at organizing than Dems are. They don't have to herd cats, like Dems do.

We all have to work hard. Our opposition is very good at manipulating the media and the electorate.

We've gotta get 'er done. That means working hard, very hard.

Do not count MI in the Dem column. Where I live, it clearly isn't.
