Rand Paul is too contra to the GOP establishment to secure the nomination... Unless he backtracks his stance on security.
Marco Rubio seems to be losing more and more credibility every time he makes headlines.
Not sure Paul Ryan still has that "new guy" sheen that he had in 2012, and they aren't going to pick the same guy for VP twice..
Not sure what other big names could turn heads.
Somehow I could see a guy like Bob McDonnell being on the VP side of the ticket.. The GOP base would figure: "He will help us out in VA", and shove him on there. But I'm just speculating...
