Oh my! What a week that was. I learned the other night that in Discussionist we are referred to as BOGscum. When you google the word, you get RW sites, not surprising. Yet not all that different than how we are referred to here on DU.

I have watched Obama being trashed and many comments being hidden by what seems to be alert stalking. The majority of hides that I have seen are members of AA. There seems to be some people here that want all of us to sit down and shut up.

One of my threads was alerted on and bravenak had most of her posts alerted on for speaking her mind on issues that concern her and got 2 hides for her efforts.

We like this President and some here just can't stand that fact. They accuse us of being blind followers that walk in lock step. We are called Obamabots, we are stupid, brain dead followers with nary a thought in our heads. Wow, that sort of describes what the GOP thinks of women.

None of us has ever said that he was perfect. Yet he is a damn good President, the best in my book. You know why? He has continued to move us forward with strength and determination.

I for one will not sit down or shut up nor will I be told that I can not post in GD.

Our sitting first African American President can only get praise for his accomplishments in a protected group. Really? On DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND he can only be praised in a protective group! Sorry if I repeat myself yet your answer just blows me away.

You want to segregate this President and those that praise his accomplishments! WTF!
