and all of you here. It means a lot to have our little safe haven where we can post pictures or threads about Obama singing an Al Green song.

Mostly I'm happy that this group is politically active. Those of you who are already doing GOTV work, I'm proud of you! Thank you for telling your stories. They inspire us all.

I'll be going to an OFA phone bank this weekend at a house near where I live. And you know what's so great? I'm meeting other committed Democrats in my area, people who share my concerns and goals. This is a very, very Republican county. Without the phone banking it can feel pretty lonely for Democrats here. I'm hoping to meet some other women who like to hike, too, since hiking alone in the mountains is never a good idea. And yes, I've been guilty of doing that more often than I'll ever admit.

Anyway, I was just thinking of how much I get out of working for Obama and other Democrats. It's definitely more than I give. Happy campaigning everyone!
