to come out in support of marriage equality? It's why some hate him so intensely. He's hated on the right for obvious reasons. But I think he's hated by some on the left because he's actually ticking off all the boxes, and taking away talking points, one by one. Those who recognize the delicate subtleties of this president moving us "Forward" incrementally, appreciate his giving voice to issues of equality.
The fact that this president hasn't charged through the halls of congress like a bull in a china shop seems to be a source of irritation for some, but I'm proud of him, not only for this decision, but for his ability to actually care about the feelings of others.
