Mom-To-Be Won't Leave Blackhawks Game Even In Mid Labor [View all]
Just how dedicated are Blackhawks fans? A nine-month pregnant woman decided to watch the entirety of the Blackhawks win over the Minnesota Wild Thursday night, despite having mild contractions during the third period.
Donna Lebano’s three sisters rushed her to Hinsdale Hospital where she delivered a baby boy just a few hours after the game ended.
Barb Wilczek, who accompanied her sister to the hospital, said the thrilling game may have played a part in the day’s stunning turn of events.
“Nothing like an exciting Hawks game to induce labor,” Wilczek said.
