Dumb Criminals: Another Butt Dialing Burglar Joins The Growing List [View all]
An accused burglar is behind bars after accidentally calling 911 from his pocket while discussing a crime with his partner.
Pittsburg County Sheriff's office say Payton Brewer and his accomplice were discussing what to steal from a home, while dispatchers were listening over the phone.
Deputies headed out to the home, but the two suspect had already left before they arrived. Sheriff's office say Brewer did take jewelry from the home.
Brewer was later caught when he tried to sell the stolen jewelry to a local business. There is no word on the other suspect.
