The "Bohemian Rhapsody" Dude Is An Unemployed Home Brewer Who Was Picked Up For DUI
The Smoking Gun has discovered the identity of that guy who fantastically belted out every word of "Bohemian Rhapsody" in the back of a cop car after his arrest. His name is Robert Wilkinson, he's 29, he's unemployed, he's a home brewer, and his unforgettable performance in the back of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police vehicle was very much real. It happened last November after the 29-year-old was busted for drunken driving in Edson, Alberta, Canada.
The video got out because Wilkinson, who is unemployed, decided to defend himself against the charges (of course), and the RCMP gave it to him as part of the case's discovery process. Wilkinson, in turn, did what any serious legal mind would do to prepare his defense: He uploaded the clip to YouTube to amuse his friends. The Smoking Gun interviewed Wilkinson and found out a little bit more about him:
