The pain of watching someone you love in the grip of addiction is unbearable. I know what you are going through (and I bet many others do as well) and I just want you to know you are not alone. If you ever need to talk or get help in any way, there are so many loving people here for you. The Hill peeps have your back. I'm sorry that something that was supposed to take your mind off your troubles made you feel bad and that sharing about it brought the lunatics out of the shadows.

You know what the good news is? You have a heart and courage and that comes through. Don't share your sincerity or goodness or pain with them. They are literally bad people with dark hearts. Stay in the light and where it is warm and people are kind. With us!
