I was kind of miffed at ol' George over that one. Plus, he should have known the media would jump all over it. I live in France, for Pete's sake, and it's all over the French media; when I type "George Clooney," I get all kinds of OTT headlines about how shocked Clooney is by the indecent amounts of money being poured into the Clinton campaign. Yes, the French media twist reality just as well as the US media.

Sigh. This doesn't help Hillary's image abroad, but then, apparently my fellow Democrat expats are rather pro-Sanders anyway! Democrats Abroad reported a big win for BS following our own primaries. Sheesh. And here I thought living abroad brought greater WISDOM!
