31. That might be his swan song

...to kinda save face.
He might come out and "suspend his campaign" after giving it some careful consideration--saying something like the threat of the Republicans taking the White House and Congress is just too grave. He may say that he will work against them in any way he can, in the immediate sense that means helping Clinton win, but that he will fight on in the Senate and will pick up the fight for the White House again in 2020. He will vow to carry the torch that has been resoundingly given him through his enormous grass roots movement, or something like that.
You can bet that behind the scenes right now there are many important people pushing him to knock off the avoidable damage he is doing the Party right now, and that he will have to accept defeat and support Hillary Clinton. Sooner is better than later, but he will be defiant for a while longer because--well, he is that kind of guy.
