pick a post at random, and reply to it.

The hope is that no one will notice. They're trying to boost their post count so they don't look quite so obviously "new" and it is easier for them to troll.

They do it on occasion in the oddball groups I host, thinking that no one is minding the store. I immediately turn the names over to MIRT--sometimes they get busted, other times they troll on for awhile before they get bagged.
