47. Me, too!

I've been catching up on TV lately--lots of good programming that I've been wanting to see. It's way more fun than dealing with the bullshit and trolls here, which is a pity, because normally this is a fun community, but it's been infested by a few provacateurs who are doing a bang-up job of influencing the easily led, and goading and baiting the passionate. Makes normal conversation next to impossible, regretfully.

For those who like mindless period soap operas in Spanish language, VELVET and GRAN HOTEL are must-sees! NETFLIX is where you can find them. Beats the hell out of this "Beating Up on Clinton as a Substitute for Ideas" horseshit! On network/cable television (and in Europe as well as USA, UK is a couple of episodes ahead) I recommend HUMANS--it's a sci-fi thriller about robots called "synths" -- great characters and pacing! And then there's Mr. Robot, which I'm still trying to make my mind up about....it's very angst-y but it's nicely filmed. The star of the piece is an interesting fellow with issues who could be described as the poster child for anhedonia. Halt and Catch Fire is back on AMC, that's a fun time waster, too.

Caging the hateful rhetoric in the GDP has helped slightly, but only just. I think a lot of people are going to be busy deleting posts once the primary ends, which is why, if anyone says anything really nasty, and if one chooses to respond to them, it's a good idea to quote 'em....!
