(25,406 posts)We're less than two years away from the election, and nobody can possibly overcome Hillary's advantages in both the nomination process and the general election. Let the people who are going to eventually vote for her in November 2016 get it all out of their systems now as to why they don't want to.
The bright side of this is, we won't have a bruising primary fight that tears down our eventual nominee (the Rethugs would love that this time around, since there's no one whose 'turn' it is) and the money that would be spent during primary campaigns for the presidential race can be spent on getting progressive nominees on the fall ballot.
Hillary will work with whatever Congress the American people give her, it's up to us to make sure that they reflect as much of our values as possible. Spending time, money and emotion on a done deal is a waste, when there are other places to expend those things that will make a difference.
