CHARLESTON, WV (WCHS/WVAH) On the heels of her husband's weekend visit to the region, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has stops planned Monday and Tuesday in West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio.
The Democratic front-runner's campaign said in a news release that during her visits to the region she will talk about the economy, jobs and meet with retired miners and community members. On Monday, Hillary Clinton will be at Alma's Italian restaurant on 15th Street in Ashland, Ky., at 12:45 p.m., where she is expected to discuss economic barriers and jobs.
Later in the day at 4:15 p.m., her campaign said Clinton will have a tour and discussion with community members at the Williamson Health and Wellness Center in Williamson on Second Avenue.
Monday's announced activities wrap up with a 6 p.m. meeting with retired mine workers and community members in Williamson at an unspecified location.
Hillary Clinton's visit to the region concludes on Tuesday with a 1:45 p.m. stop at Jackie O's Production Brewery and Tap Room on Campbell Street in Athens, Ohio.
