Actually, as she entered the state I "told" her - don't cry. And she did not. Senator Schumer gave her a bear hug and it was clear he meant it.

But then we had the convention and it was clear that we had to win these elections. So I while I did not embrace Obama, I did, of course, voted for him, even made a small donation.

And, yes, the nastiness on these pages was as bad as it is now that for a while I was thinking of just staying home on election day.

Even today, it bothers me that African Americans had no problem saying they supported Obama because he is black, while women fell over themselves to say that, yes, they are women, but were not supporting Hillary.

Funny, she was not my first choice in 2008 but then I had a chance to hear her speak and I was amazed at the clarity and the precise way she delivered her ideas.
