...and he will support Hillary because getting Dems elected is important for our nation. He is aware that not all Bernie fans will be so rational about the failure of their candidate to win the nomination.
Anger causes people to act irrationally, unfortunately, and blaming the DNC and "the Clinton machine" is not healthy.
My son is a member of Young Democrats and the whole time he supported Bernie he refused to bash Hillary because he knew that, as a Democrat, he would have to support the nominee. It was obvious that it was a contest and that Bernie might not win, but he said, "Bernie has added so much to the discussion" and so I leave it at that and do not respond with how his lies and other negativity has drowned that out. I hope my son can influence others to look at the bigger picture--the one over Bernie's shoulder past him--Congress, the Supreme Court, state governments, the Democrat Party, etc. Bernie dropped the ball in all these places.
Bottom line is that it will be up to us Hillary supporters to help young people that haven't already gotten a clue to get one, and vote a Dem ticket in November. It looks like Bernie won't step up. He used young people and now he refuses to take responsibility.
You and I both know our sons won't regret supporting Hillary Clinton--ever!
