No, Hillary is not being Shoved Down Our Throats [View all]
The kvetching from the BSers is really getting tiresome. Their man has lost, and they should deal with it.
I'm tired of hearing that Hillary is being "shoved down our throats" by the establishment. Really?
Sanders has spent much more on TV ads than has Clinton. He's gotten more free media exposure than any candidate in the race besides Trump. His every fart is spun positively by the cheerleaders at MSNBC and elsewhere. He has benefitted by not being properly vetted or subjected to negative attacks the way Hillary has for the past 25 years. Most stories about Hillary are negative, or they come laden with caveats that are based on RW lies, while Sanders benefits from the bullshit "little engine that could" spin.
As far the the Dem establishment, they have been more than evenhanded with Sanders, giving him the kid glove treatment, elevating him to a level on par with Hillary, even though he can't touch Hillary's experience and record for getting positive things done, as First Lady, as Senator and as SoS. Party primary rules? He knew those going in. He agreed to run by those rules. End of story.
AND YET - she has received 3-MILLION more votes than Sanders. She leads him in pledged delegates by 290+ votes and in super delegates by 500+ votes. How can that be? Could it be that Democrats LIKE Hillary better than Sanders, no matter how much the MSM, the RNC, the RWNM and Sanders himself attacks her character, her motives and her judgement? All things considered, yeah, that's what it is: Democrats can see through all the bullshit. We know Hillary. We've known her for decades. We trust her BASED ON HER RECORD. We want Hillary as our nominee.
Time to grow up and quit the whining that Hillary is being shoved down our throats, or being coronated, or being elected by the corporate elites. She is winning because millions upon millions of rank-and-file DEMOCRATS are voting for her to be the standard bearer for the DEMOCRATIC Party. Not the Independent Party, or the Democratic Socialist Party, or any other Party that is NOT the Democratic Party.
She is our nominee, the Democratic Party's nominee. That's the math. That's the reality.
And thank the stars for that!
