3. I blame the voters who voted for this dumb ass. Most of the media coverage was not flattering.

On national TV, he said and did monumentally ugly things. Neither MSNBC, CNN, NBC, ABC, or CBS did puff pieces that made him look good.
It reminded me of the coverage of Palin in 2008. Once she was the VP nominee, she got a lot of press, and most of it was honest, which amounted to a negative portrayal. Not surprisingly, she did more to hurt McCain than about anything else.

For some reason, his outrageous actions made absolutely no difference to his voters.

I do not give the media a pass. They should have been more even in the coverage. I understand why they covered the way they did. He is a movable trainwreck. And when you add in the open conspiracy in the Republican party to get rid of him, it was a drama that kept ratings high.

I have even wondered if the whole Dump Trump movement and his outrageous acts were planned. It kept the media turned in and everyone watching.
