I read the Variety story on it yesterday and misread that portion as a response to a specific (rhetorical) question Sanders had asked at his rally. Sanders, of course, didn't reference job creation - in the Variety version, he mentioned wages, Iger's salary, and H1-B visas, similar to this one.
