Yes, he is a strong supporter, but his negatives are impossible.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2389919/General-Wesley-Clark-68-STILL-divorced-wife-46-years-blindsided-left-her.html

He dumped his lovely, kind, highly regarded and long-suffering wife of a half century for a Chinese woman young enough to be his GRANDDAUGHTER. She is in her early thirties, a former Goldman Sachs banker, who now calls herself an "entrepreneur."

Update: Shauna just got married--to her partner at her business. She and Wesley parted ways: http://pagesix.com/2016/04/23/shauna-mei-has-a-new-soulmate/

As near as I have figured out (and I could be mistaken) Wes and Gertrude (she was a very nice lady the few times I met her) aren't divorced (notwithstanding what the article above says) --there's a bit of Catholicism in the way of all that.

He's not an easy person to get along with. He can be ... imperious. I had a few encounters with him when I was on active duty, and it is my considered view that he's not the best choice for the job. Also, he's too old (71). There needs to be some youth and vigor for a bit of balance on the ticket, and a guy who is in his seventies with a way-too-young girlfriend doesn't provide that balance.

I would be both shocked and disappointed if she chose Clark for the number 2 gig.
