As is his age. He's 71. The VP needs to be "The Future." Not the past--and not the divisive past, certainly. The only reason Obama got away with an old VP is because he was youthful and lacked experience. Biden was playing Cheney to his Bush, if you will forgive the horrific analogy.
HRC needs to pick a young up-and-comer. Someone who thinks on their feet, takes direction well, doesn't go off message, is camera-friendly, knows when to zip it and knows how to give a non-answer answer when needs must.
She doesn't NEED any "experience" on the ticket, and certainly not his. She was the damn Secretary of State--the most SENIOR position on the entire cabinet, senior to Defense and all the rest of the players. She's got way more experience than Clark, and he has some hard negatives that the right wing would love to drag up (militarily-related, having nothing to do with his messy private life). He is just not on the short list, no matter what TV pundits say.
