33. No one tallies the delegates officially until the convention...it's all presumptive until then.

If you only count pledged delegates, you reduce the "total" to get to one half...but it's irrelevant. The system includes super delegates.

With the current Hillary lead, committed super delegates will vote the way they commit, just like pledged delegates are "pledged", unless there is some really crazy event before the convention. A recount in KY could change the pledged delegates too.

If Bernie conceded, his super delegates might switch publicly to Hillary. There's no realistic reason Hillary isn't the "presumptive" nominee whenever she has a combination of pledged and committed delegates that total more than half.

Actually, if you count those who are politically correct SDs (like Obama), she is pretty close or over the number now.
