whenever he wants, safe in the knowledge that most people (especially employees) will stand there in silence and take it, because we put rich people on a pedestal in this country (in the case of employees, we fear for our jobs were we ever to disagree with or confront our boss). In fact, there used to be rich people and celebrities. Now, rich people are also celebrities by virtue of their wealth.
