People who are populist on economic issues and relatively conservative in social issues (maybe not as racist/sexist as Trump but enough that his racism/sexism aren't dealbreakers). Those are probably where his big margins in places like Alaska, Nebraska and Oklahoma are coming from. Trump is a clear second best to Sanders over Hillary given that Trump is trying to run as an economic populist.
