1. I never understood why anyone ever gave a damn about her

pantsuits. They were almost always attractive, fit well, and served as the female equivalent to the male suit and tie. I wore pantsuits almost every day to work, as did many, many other women. They really do the job and make dressing for work so easy.

Were the objections to her pantsuits from the RWers? Do they think every woman needs to wear skirts or dresses so their whiny preconceptions of how second-class (female, IOW) should dress are observed? I just never got the objections.
