Maya Harris was seen as an unexpected choice when Hillary Clinton HQ announced in April that she would be joining the campaign as a senior policy advisor. While many team members at 1 Pierrepont Plaza are veteran Clinton staffers, Harris is a fresher face in Hillaryland. She didn't serve in the Clinton White House and never worked under Clinton in the Senate or the State Department. She is, however, a keen observer of American politics and a fierce advocate for many of the issues that Clinton has put at the center of this race.
Really nice to know.
