I'm 45 now, and I'd do anything to prevent the next generation from that utterly grey and joyless decade. It seemed like every day was more hopeless news.

No candidate is perfect, but I don't think we can survive another decade of plunging over the cliff. We've barely come out of the damage of the last trip down.
