Five years ago this month, a man stood three feet away from me in a grocery store parking lot, aimed a gun at my head, and pulled the trigger. I survived, but he killed six people that day, including a 9-year-old girl.

I don't get angry about what happened to me. But I am angry that so many Americans die every single year because we refuse to implement commonsense solutions to prevent gun violence.

Hillary has laid out a smart, sensible plan to make our communities safer from gun violence, and my husband Mark and I are proud to endorse her for president.
