This, for me, is a huge red flag. When I saw Sanders on one of the talking heads show, when asked a question about foreign policy, slide right into his stump speech about economics and Wall Street, I was alarmed. He's been on the campaign trail for over half a year now, he should have a well-articulated foreign policy.

It's simply not enough to reduce foreign policy to who voted for or against Bush's war. I'll admit, I HATED Clinton for a long time for voting for that war. I HATED John Kerry for a long time for voting for that war. But I eventually made my peace with it, and voted for Kerry in 2004, and supported Clinton in 2008 (though happily voted for Obama in the GE twice). I won't bore people with the details--it was a long, thoughtful process and involved moving past black and white thinking, and holding the Bush administration mainly accountable for it.

I hope he's pressed for them at the next debate.
