I'm old, too. An old white woman whose first vote was for JFK in 1960. I'm a lifelong Democrat and a strong feminist. A grandmother of two adorable granddaughters who don't think it is any big deal that their president is African America. So I'm hoping they will think it is just natural when we elect a woman as president. No big deal, right? Right! But it will be a really big deal to me! Actually a BFD (to borrow from Joe Biden.) so I applaud your comments and will stay around DU a while longer but only in the Hillary Group. Because I'm too old to read all the negative crap on most of DU. Just don't have to subject myself to that any more. Not interested.
SO, LETS GO HILLARY!!
