So basically what I''m picking up here is, RBG wants to be replaced by a philosophical and ideological equal. After the senate was lost, the best we can hope for are moderates, and so she resigned to wait.

Again. I guess to me, those seem like they were very long dice to throw. How remarkable that it seems her gamble may yet pay off. I'm not sure I'd have had the guts for that.
