and an Iowa precinct captain at our recent caucus. I've got some skin in the game, but all of us do, and I respect that regardless of which candidate anyone leans toward.

I completely agree with you. Dogmatic, uncompromising support of either candidate is unhealthy; and the rancor between camps is over the top and counterproductive.

While my idealism BERNS hot, I'm enough of a pragmatist to realize that the first objective is to WIN--because the alternative is untenable. PERIOD. Far too much is at stake.

WIN. There will be plenty time and opportunity to wage the ideological battles after winning. The failure to come together and win will mean the unraveling of a century of progress on every front.

If I vote for Bernie, yay! If I vote for Hillary, okay! I will have much more confidence voting to win than staying home and boycotting the vote because my feelings are hurt, I'm pissed, etc. Get over it. Let's WIN--and let's help the winner shape policy that speaks to our principles.

I will vote Democrat. Who joins me?
