to a different standard and receives treatment accordingly.

Now if she, like Bernie, had embraced socialism, had had a short spurt of on-the-ground activism, had written a couple independent op-eds, had had a child out of wedlock, had never held a steady job until her 40s, and only from then on had held political office in and for a state where an independent go-it-alone attitude is not only admired but encouraged and building political coalitions was not necessary, and railed constantly against the "Establishment" while being PART of the DC "Establishment since 1991, she STILL would NOT have been able suddenly to trade in her "I" label for a "D" solely to make a run for US President. One can only begin to imagine the treatment - and disparaging and worse comments - she would have gotten.

Can you imagine the treatment President Obama or any other minority candidate would have received with the same or similar background?

Hillary has undeniably outstanding achievements and has from at least 1972 on been a consistent and stalwart champion of liberal causes, implementing many things that have actually improved the lives of many of the vulnerable among us. Yet some SBS supporters refer to her impressive achievements as "crumbs."

Double standards all over the place.
