... turned into a weapon to silence political opponents. Thanks, William (and other group leaders) for not allowing the SOP alerts to be abused in the same way.

The alert on your announcement is just more proof to support the case you made. I had to chuckle at the accusation of you starting "board wars" ... I'm convinced that whoever said that was completely unaware of the irony.

The SOP alerts aren't anonymous, right? You guys can actually SEE the username of the individuals who are trying to disrupt our safe haven, right? (I believe that the anonymous nature of the regular alert system helps to contribute to its abuse, but if people knew that SOP alerts included their user-ID, then perhaps there wouldn't be so many.)

Anyway... thank you! Thanks also to everyone else who helps to keep this group a friendly and safe place where we can post without (with minimal?) interference and harassment. You guys are the best!!
