There are a number of people looking after voting issues. Battleground has a voter protection operation and most of the local counties have voter protection operations.

The Texas Democratic Party is very active on election law issues. One of my county's state representatives, Ron Reynolds, is on the elections committee and Sondra Haltom is working for him on these issues (Sondra was with the DNC Voter Expansion Project during the last election cycle). Glen Maxey of the Texas Democratic Party is doing a tremendous job on election issues. Glen is amazing.
