Hillary Clinton
In reply to the discussion: Top Minnesota newspaper endorses Clinton.. Whoa! [View all]the_sly_pig
(752 posts)14. Sadly, the paper that used to be nicknamed the 'red star'..
... was purchased by Glen Taylor, owner of the Timberwolves. He also purchased a local paper 'City Pages' and turned that hard-hitting, honest news weekly into a fluff rag.
Being endorsed by the Star/Tribune means about as much as being endorsed by the Pioneer Press; its meaningless. If the Strib thinks Bernie is "polarizing", I wonder what its editorial board thinks about Tea Party candidates or republican congress people serving under President Obama. Certainly "polarizing" is not used on a daily basis to describe 'reality'.
Anyhoo, I plan on voting for the Democratic nominee. Whether Hillary or Bernie, as a good liberal, I'm sure I will be equally disappointed by whichever one wins the presidency.

Wouldn't a paper get caught up in a surge? Get caught up in the momentum? Televise the revolution?

Personally, I think the "revolution" may have just come to a screeching halt. Reality bites.....
