3. Even as a male Gen X-er

I agree with her. I'm used to my early-Boomer mother running a construction company. I'm used to the looks and comments she used to get (and used to her response, which is not printable here--she has a mouth like a sailor when she wants to).

I'm also rather fortunate in that I'm used to women being in places where "they shouldn't" and doing things "they shouldn't." It doesn't blip on my radar because I saw it every day of my life.
