It's gotten ridiculous here to the point that I suspect if I just posted a title as "Hillary is an ugly bitch" I'd get a hundred recs before the thread was rightly locked.

It may not be locked. Some horrible posts have been left standing with hundeds of recs despite multiple alerts and appeals to admins.
