The right-wing smears started a little later, roughly coinciding with Bill's candidacy and presidency. It's stunning to have watched the ugly charges grow malignantly and be repeated by those who don't support her currently. Limbaugh was an early Hillary-as-witch cheerleader and, sadly, seems to spread his exaggerated misperceptions.
