26. Thank you Bill!

I lost my brother to AIDs on January 1st, 1987. It was the Reagan Admisitration's policies that made it illegal for his doctors in Atlanta to give him AZT. His doctors broke the law in order to give him the drug in a last ditch effort to save his life. He succumbed to the disease despite their valiant efforts.

I hated Reagan then and I hate him now. It wasn't until Bill Clinton became president that so many restrictions were loosened up on treatment for AIDs and it was brought front and center in the American conscious. The Clinton Foundation has continued the fight against this horrible disease across the world. While Hillary made a mistake with her comments, I do believe she was sincere when she made her apology. I still support her and she supports me and us. She always has and she always will.

For all our friends and family we have lost to AIDs.

And for all us and our friends and family living with AIDs
