8. Unfortunately for some people (mostly loyal long-time Democrats like Axelrod or the Clintons)....

...people dissect each and every sentence they speak or write, hoping and praying they'll be slightly ambiguous so they can be criticized on the "negative" aspect of what they said.

It happened in this case, and it happened on Friday with Clinton's comments about Nancy Reagan.

These people, Axelrod and Clinton and others, have proven to us the true meaning of what they say through their decades of positive actions.

And yet others seem to skate through life with nary a word of criticism and, if one dares, feels the wrath zealots.

That last sentence above says a lot about how people should look at many public figure's positions on issues:

"The character of some arguments simply can't be captured in 140 characters."
