8. I just spent five days

without even looking at this site. The buildup of negativity had begun to take it's toll on me. I spent the time I usually hang out on DU reading and listening to music. My curiosity got the best of me today and I took a look. In that short amount of time it appears that it has become an even further far left wing echo chamber- It's the same posts, the same topics- same negativity, same hatred, gloating, an occasional "Bernie is so awesome" post. I scan all the posters on an OP that looks interesting and I mostly see rabid BSS. I'm wondering how many Democrats are even left on Democratic Underground. I think we all got a little taste this weekend of what an easy target a candidate like BS would be in the GE. I worry about our country. I am even more convinced that Bernie could not win in the GE and I'm concerned that the hatred spawned by the Bernie or Bust crowd could really hurt us in the GE. A lot depends on how BS and his hate filled followers conduct themselves when he concedes. For those reasons, it is even more imperative that we win back the Senate which I think is a possibility. The political landscape is as unsettling as it's been in a long time. I feel like Hillary's candidacy is the only thing between us and chaos.
